Terms
These are the rules for playing Atlas Cards. They are short on purpose.

What this is
Atlas Cards is a free collectible card game. Every card is made from a Wikipedia article, and you collect, trade and show the cards you open.
It is an independent project. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation or Wikipedia.
Your account
You can play as a guest, with an album that lives on your device, or save your collection with an email and a password to use it anywhere.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can see where you're signed in, sign out everywhere and delete your account from the account screen.
One person plays one account. Don't open extra accounts to get around the limits of the game.
Other players can see your handle and display name. Don't choose a name that impersonates someone or insults anyone.
Packs, cards and coins
Packs, cards, coins and Flair are items of the game. They have no cash value, they can't be bought, and they can't be sold or exchanged for money, in the game or anywhere else. The game takes no payments.
The odds of every pack are published in the game, and you can read them before you open one. We may adjust odds, prices and limits to keep the game fair, and the pages show the numbers that apply today.
If a rights decision changes how a card is shown, or withdraws it from packs, the copies already in collections stay owned and tradable.
Trading
You can list cards for coins, bid in auctions and offer trades to other players. There is no chat: a trade is cards and coins only.
The game shows the price and any fee before you confirm. A sale, a winning bid or an accepted trade is final when it completes.
We may cancel a listing or reverse a trade that breaks these terms or was made through abuse. If we do, we tell you why in your notices, and you can appeal once.
Playing fair
Don't cheat, don't use mistakes in the game to gain an advantage, and don't automate play in ways that load the service or put other players at a disadvantage.
Be decent to other players. You can block or mute any player, and report a player or an entry from its menu.
Moderators may hide content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules. They tell you what they decided in your notices, and you can appeal once.
Content from Wikipedia and other sources
Cards show short excerpts, facts and pictures from Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata and other open sources. Each of them stays under the licence it was published with. The licence is named on the card and on the credits page.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under those licences. You may reuse an excerpt, a fact or a picture as its licence allows, with or without this game.
The game itself belongs to us. Its code, frames, effects, sounds, wordmark and original artwork are not covered by those licences. You may use them to play, and to share the images and videos the game makes for you, with the credits that come with them.
If you think a card uses your work, your name or your picture in a way it shouldn't, tell us through the report form.
What you share
A shared pull, set or showcase has a link. Anyone who has the link can see what it shows. Sharing is your choice, and you can stop at any time: the link then stops working.
What you type is limited to your display name and bio, which other players can see. The game has no comments, messages or uploads.
How the game handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
Availability
We provide the game free of charge and as it is. We try to keep it running and correct, but we don't promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes.
We may change, pause or end parts of the game. If we plan to stop it altogether, we will try to tell you in the game first, and to leave you time to export your data.
Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for the loss of game items, which have no cash value.
Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law doesn't let us limit, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence.
Ending your use
You can stop playing at any time, and delete your account from the account screen. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why in your notices.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we publish the new version here with a new version number, and we tell you in the game. The date at the top is the day of the last change.
Disagreements
If we can't settle a disagreement between us, the courts that have jurisdiction under the law that applies to you will decide it. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights that the mandatory law of your country gives you.
Contact
The game has no public mailbox. To report a problem with a card, use the report form. Everything else about your data you can do yourself from the account screen and the privacy settings.
